Party at Our Iggys

What is up guys, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. A couple days ago Joe posted a new article to the website showing off some pretty incredible Igloos, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"Igloo fever is sweeping the island and CPI headquarters is no exception. Team members have been taking breaks to “test” igloos, and we’d like to show you some of their creations."

Captain Pirate’s Igloo

"All aboard, mateys! One of the Club Penguin Island game designers created this seafaring vessel for Captain Pirate. Who needs an igloo when you’ve got the salty seas?"

Mosski’s Igloo

"Designed by a Club Penguin Island artist, Mosski’s igloo focuses on the magical elements of nature. But if you’re looking for shelter, stop by the small fortress for some modern penguin comforts."

Artysaurus’ Igloo

"Visitors might be baffled by the strange shape on Artysaurus’ lot. But take a look from above and you’ll see that one of our artists designed a dinosaur-shaped dance floor!"

Sir Champion’s Igloo

"Hear ye, hear ye! One of our game designers has created a spectacular castle for Sir Champion. It’s sure to inspire all the kings, queens, and knights of the land."

"Want to check out these penguins’ current igloos? You can add them in-game as friends and visit (or even party at) their homes."

"So, party at their iggy?"

Waddle On

These Igloos look fantastic and I really want to see some others coming from the Penguin of the Week posts that they talked about earlier in the year. The Igloos in the game can be designed so much better than what they were previously and I can't wait to see what users can think of. Anyways what do you all think of this blog post from Joe? Is there any Igloos that you saw around that impressed you? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Penguin of the Week: MissDelirious

What is going on Everyone, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Sam put up a new Penguin of the Week blog post on Wednesday and this weeks winner is MissDelirious.

"Hi penguin pals!"

"MissDelirious was nominated to be Penguin of the Week by Fiffy7108!"

"Here is the nomination:"

"I would like to nominate a friend that always be there with me MissDelirious! She loves to share party supplies for everyone, and she is a friend that makes my day brighter! She is friendly to members and non members. She really deserves to be the next POTW, Waddle on!"

"Congrats, MissDelirious!"

"Want to nominate a friend for Penguin of the Week? Leave a comment telling us why! Each Penguin of the Week receives 5,000 coins and a POTW emoji pack!"

Waddle On

Congratulations to MissDelirious for becoming the recent POTW. Its pretty cool that she shares with other users on the game and that she continues to be friendly to everyone. I am always pleased to hear who is the next POTW every single week as I get to learn more about members of the community. Anyways what do you all think of this recent POTW blog post? Is there anyone you want to nominate in the future? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

A Gift from Us to You

Hey everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Sam put up an article to the Club Penguin a couple days ago about a special gift from the team.

"HAPPY HOLIDAYS, PENGUIN FAMILY!!!"

https://8fd47880.content.disney.io/HappyHolidays_FromtheTeam_2.jpg

"The Club Penguin Island team wishes you and yours all the fun, happiness, and holiday hype you can stand! We have a little gift for you…"

"It’s a FREE download of the island anthem, “We Are the Penguins!”

"(DJ Cadence picked it out)"

"Directions: Play this song anytime you need a quick dance party, a smile, or a reminder that the island is a place for EVERYONE to call home!"

Waddle On

This is a really cool gift and I am glad to get a free download of the island anthem. We Are the Penguins is something I wish the team had as an anthem for the previous game. I do think its a bit disappointing that the Club Penguin team put up Happy Holidays when this was published on Christmas but its not something I can change. What do you all think of this article from the Club Penguin Team? Is there anything you want the Club Penguin Team to publish on the blog? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Sneak Peek: Descendants 2 Cotillion Fashion

What is up Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. There has only been a couple of blog posts coming from the Club Penguin over the last week and one of them is a sneak peek for more Descendants 2 Clothing, check it out.

"Hey penguin pals,"

"Exciting news! We’ve got brand new Descendants 2 Cotillion fashion heading to the Disney Shop, and it’s wickedly fancy. From Mal’s formal hairstyle to Dizzy’s electrifying outfit, you really can’t go wrong. While are artists are still working on perfecting these new looks, we do have one that we can show you…"

"It’s Evie! The blue hair kind of gave it away, didn’t it? Evie’s gown is simple yet elegant, and her glamorous accessories really show off her spellbinding style."

"We hope you enjoyed this first look! Let us know what you think in the comments."

Waddle On

This outfit looks very cool and I am glad to see more of them come to the game. I will say that I would rather have costumes that are unique instead of other licenses. Anyways what do you all think of this blog post from the Club Penguin Team? Is there anything you want the team to add to the game? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

The Making of Igloos

What's up Guys and Gals, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Yesterday there was a brand new article but up on the website that shows off how Igloos were made.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"Bringing igloos to Club Penguin Island was the dream since the very beginning, and we were incredibly hyped to make it a reality in the 1.8 update! Our team worked tirelessly to make them fun, interactive, customizable, and special down to the very last detail––a penguin’s home is its sanctuary, after all!"

"We thought it would be fun to give you all a look into our igloo creative process with some authentic, never-before-seen concept art! Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?"

Step One: Thumbnail Sketch

"Our artists kick off the creative process with a quick “thumbnail” drawing, which will be used to give a general idea of what their vision is and what they will need to move forward!"

Step Two: Whitebox

"When it comes to more complex creations like igloos, our artists will make a “whitebox” version so that the concept has the right dimensions for a penguin. Consider this a 3D sketch!"

Step Three: Refined Sketch

"This is just a clearer and more detailed sketch, based off the dimensions of the whitebox."

Step Four: Color Concept

"We’re almost there! This is the final stage of the concept art before it goes on to a 3D artist!"

Step Five: Final Model

"Annnnd, wah-lah! Once a 3D artist has modeled and textured the color concept, you get the final model! It is now ready to be imported into the game."

"We hope you enjoyed learning more about this process, penguin pals! If you’d like to see more concept art in the future, let us know in the comments!"

Waddle On

These concept arts are pretty cool and I am pretty glad to see how stuff behind the scenes works. Anyways what do you all think of articles from the CP Team like this? Please leave your thoughts down below and until next time this is Crzypengu saying Waddle On!

Penguin of the Week: MayaJack

What is going on Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Joe from the Club Penguin Team put up a Penguin of the Week post on Tuesday, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals!"

"MayaJack was nominated to be Penguin of the Week by CP4002129109!"

"Here is the nomination:"

"I would like to nominate MayaJack. I only came to the world today. It was odd I did not know where anything was. But she showed me. She showed my all of the cool things on Cp. Every time I am on and she is too she will find me and we will do the dance competition. She made me feel welcomed!"

"Congrats, MayaJack!"

"Want to nominate a friend for Penguin of the Week? Leave a comment telling us why! Each Penguin of the Week receives 5,000 coins and a POTW emoji pack!"

Waddle On

Congratulations to MayaJack for becoming this weeks POTW. I am glad to know that a new user was helped out on day one playing the game to learn what penguins are doing on the island. Its so awesome to hear about so many interesting penguins and I'm excited to see who will nominated next. What do you all think of this brand new article from the CP Team? Is there anything you want to see come to the game in the future? Please leave your comments down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Beta Test Fest - December 18

What is going on everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Earlier this week the CP Team put up an article going over the CPI Beta that is currently going on the Desktop, check it out.

"Hi beta testers!"

"A big THANK YOU to each of you. Your feedback on our first Beta Test Fest post was super valuable and helped us target a lot of bugs. Our 1.8.1 update has been released, and you’ll find the team has fixed many of the issues you’d reported. Download Club Penguin Island from our website and re-install it to update your game to the latest version. (In the future we’ll have a simpler method to update your game.)"

Top Bugs

"Here’s an update on the most talked about bugs:"

Stacking items in an igloo causes them to disappear if you delete the bottom item
"Stacking should work correctly in 1.8.1. Let us know if you continue to have problems."

Placing the maximum number of furniture items in an igloo lot crashes the game
"This is another issue that’s been fixed in 1.8.1. If you still see it happen, let us know."

A pink or blue screen appears when loading Club Penguin Island
"Some players have had success by updating their drivers and graphics software. Players still having this issue can contact our support team at support@clubpenguinisland.com"

Some penguins are invisible to players
"There are various reasons for this, and our team has fixed some of them in 1.8.1. There are also times when invisible penguins aren’t a bug. For example, the number of penguins that load in a room depend on the player’s device and its memory."

Pop-ups during the tutorial won’t close
"This bug has been fixed in each area of the game where we’ve seen it happen. If you still find some out there, let us know."

What’s Next?

"We already have a lot of fixes planned for the 1.9 update and we’d love your feedback so we can find even more issues. Let us know of any bugs you find, especially ones we thought we’d fixed. Sometimes they’re tricky like that."

"Include as many details as you can—like where you were in-game and what you were doing when the bug occurred."

"Below is a template that can help:"

"Are you playing on PC Windows or Mac?"
"What bug have you discovered?"
"What were you doing when the bug happened?"

"Thank you, beta testers! Our island is stronger already thanks to your hard work."

Interested in becoming a beta tester? If you’re on a Windows PC or Mac computer, you can download the Club Penguin Island open beta HERE!

Waddle On

Thanks for giving us an update on how the Beta is going along Club Penguin. I enjoy playing the Beta stages as the game because you can see all of the bugs and issues in the game before its released. Anyways what do you all think of this latest article from the Club Penguin Team? Is there anything you want to see come to the game in the future? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more posts will be coming soon.

Holiday Coloring Pages

Hey everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. On Friday the CP Team put up an article that talks about some Coloring Pages we can get, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"Last week our annual Coins for Change campaign kicked off on the island, and to our surprise, it only took the community a few hours to achieve our goal of 1 million donated coins… we could hardly believe it! And don’t get me wrong, we knew how excited and committed you were about making a positive impact this holiday season, but WOW!!!"

"The giving didn’t stop there—even though you had already surpassed our goal in the early hours of day one, the donations just kept coming. In fact, the CFC meter was actually broken at 10 million coins on Monday! This is an amazing accomplishment, penguin pals, and we are extremely proud. Your generosity, dedication, and determination are what make the island—and the world—a beautiful place!"

"To show our appreciation, our artists designed these fun holiday coloring pages for you to print and decorate! You can give them to friends and family as gifts, or keep them as a way to remember your first holiday season on the island."

Bot or Not?

What is going on Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. There has been an issue on the game recently in which bots would be waddling around that aren't controlled by a person and the CP Team decided to talk about it.

"Hi everyone,"

"Let’s take a moment to talk about bots. There aren’t usually many on the island, but you might see them now and then."

"Bots look like penguins but there’s one major difference—there’s no human controlling the account. Instead, they stand in one place and might say pre-made messages over and over. Lame."

"The best way to deal with bots is to ignore them, so you’ll need to know which penguins are real and which aren’t. To help, I’ve created a little something called:"

Bot or Not!?

"Pop quiz, penguins—"

1. "A group of penguins who look the same are standing in one place. They might be repeating the same messages, or telling you to visit a website for things like coins, cheats, or free membership. Bot or Not?"

"Answer: BOT! The most important thing, is to ignore bots promising things that sound too good to be true. There aren’t cheats or free memberships on these websites, and visiting them can actually be harmful to the device you’re on. Stay safe and don’t visit websites recommended by other players."

2. "A penguin is repeatedly saying “Party in my iggy!” Bot or Not?"

"Answer: (Probably) NOT! That’s likely a penguin planning an igloo party. Igloos are in-game so they’re safe to visit."

3. "A well-dressed penguin who loves fashion offers to train you in the art of stealth. Bot or Not?"

"Answer: DOT! That’s no bot, that’s Dot—one of the island’s best designers. And, rumor has it, an elite spy!"

"The lesson here is to ignore bots, especially when they’re telling you to visit a website. Meanwhile, the team is working on others ways to deal with bots. If you’d like to help out, report any bots you see."

"Thank you for keeping the island safe!"

Waddle On

Thanks for providing some information about these Bots on the game Club Penguin. I am sure I've seen a couple bots in the game but not anything huge. My biggest question is who took the picture on this article and if those are real bots or just a bunch of random penguins near each other. What do you all think of these bots going around the island? Is there anything you would like the team try to improve? Please leave your comments down below and until next time this is Crzypengu saying Waddle On!

Happy National Cocoa Day!

Greetings everyone, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Sam from the CP team put up an article on Wednesday talking about National Cocoa Day.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"In case you haven’t heard, today is National Cocoa Day! Since smooth, chocolatey cocoa is a penguin favorite, we thought it was a day worth celebrating. Here are a few ways you can honor this yummy beverage:"

Hunt for choklodium on Mt. Blizzard – It’s what gives our cocoa that signature Club Penguin Island flavor, after all. Discover and collect all five clusters!

Find your perfect sipping spot – You can dive into the depths of the Sea Caves, climb to the top of the Migrator, grab a seat at Franky’s… the options are endless! Once you find your ideal location, kick back and enjoy your own cup of cocoa.

Do a random cocoa drop – Members can pick up a tray or two of hot cocoa and start jumping to igloos around the island. Each time you come across a fellow penguin, treat them to a cup!

"How will you celebrate National Cocoa Day on the island? Share with us in the comments!"

Waddle On

Thanks for letting us know that it was National Cocoa Day on Wednesday Sam. Its pretty cool that there are choklodium clusters on the mountain which is something I would've never seen coming to a game. I like to hand out Hot Cocoa to others on the island so I can get some friends. What do you all think of this article? Is there any events you hope to see come to the island? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Penguin of the Week: Jakemmalyn

What is up guys, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Sam from the Club Penguin Team published a new Penguin of the Week article on Tuesday where Jakemmalyn is the winner this time.

"Hi penguin pals!"

"Jakemmalyn was nominated to be Penguin of the Week by Jennacrystal38!"

"Here is the nomination:"

"I would like to nominate the sweetest girl in the world. Her name is Jakemmalyn! She has a true heart of gold and never gets into a fight. She is kind to others and her friends and me. She is very funny and we will always be friends. She is one of my favorite BFF in the world. Plz pick her for POTW!"

"Congrats, Jakemmalyn!"

"Want to nominate a friend for Penguin of the Week? Leave a comment telling us why! Each Penguin of the Week receives 5,000 coins and a POTW emoji pack!"

Waddle On

Congratulations to Jakemmalyn for becoming this weeks POTW. Your friend said that you will never get into any fights which is good to know and that you are kind to others. I haven't seen any fights happen on the game at this time, but it would be interesting why some users do it. I am always happy to see different penguins being nominated as a POTW every single week and it shows off what different users are like on the island. Anyways what did you all think of this weeks winner? Is there anyone you want to be nominated as a POTW in the future? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

An Accessible Island

What is going on everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. The Club Penguin Team published an article on their website not long ago talking about how you can access the game on Mobile Devices, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"Club Penguin Island is a virtual world for everyone to enjoy, so the team wants it to be as accessible as possible. There are special features on iOS and Android devices that, when turned on, work with the app to help players interact in a way that’s best suited for them. The team has worked really hard on integrating these features into Club Penguin Island and I’d love to tell you about them."

Limited Mobility Assistance
"Club Penguin Island takes advantage of different features for players with limited mobility. Switch navigation lets you control the game with a single tap, while assistive touch helps perform certain actions on the screen that could otherwise be difficult. There’s also a text-to-speech option so you can chat by speaking."

Reading and Cognitive Assistance "Voiceover features mean that any word in Club Penguin Island can be spoken to the player. This also great for young players who are just learning to read, since they can follow along on-screen."

Vision Assistance "Players have the option to zoom in on the screen, invert color, use voiceovers, and more. Not only that, but our artists design the island using coloring that works best for those with vision issues."

"This has been a really inspiring journey for our team members, and they’re continuing to make improvements on these accessibility features. We want to welcome all penguins to the island, and we know our community feels the same!"

Waddle On

The article that the Club Penguin Team put up is very interesting and I didn't know that you could record your voice in the game. I don't use the Safe Chat system that much because the system is overprotective on what users say and I don't want to have my account banned. Is there anything that you guys want to learn about the game or anything that can be done differently? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

CPI TV Spot – The Igloo Party

Hey Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. We had another article posted last Friday showing off a TV spot for CPI, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"The good news just keeps coming! Club Penguin Island’s latest TV spot started airing today, and we wanted to bring it to you! Click the image below to check it out, then come back here to keep reading."

"Did you recognize anyone?!"

"We thought you might! Will, Jenna, and Gabe are three incredibly talented Mousketeers from Club Mickey Mouse! They can seriously bust a move."

"Oh, and um… I’m in there, too. (Hi mom!) This was my first time doing something like this, and I’ve gotta say, it was a ton of fun. We all worked really hard––okay, okay, the dancers worked really hard––and we hope you like it!"

Waddle On

Thanks for giving us an ad on the game Club Penguin. I really like how they advertised the game this time around since its the first one to say its now on Desktop. It looks like this game will gain a bigger audience if the team continues to provide support on both platforms. What do you all think of this CPI ad? Is there anything you would've done differently? Leave your comments down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Sneak Peek: Styles for Miles

What is up Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Last week there was an article posted by Joe giving us a Sneak Peek about the next update.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"We’ve all had a busy week, haven’t we? Those igloos don’t build themselves. If you’re like me, you’ve spent a lot of time moving furniture, hosting parties, and lining the sofa up jusssst right. Exhausting work… but rewarding!"

"Let’s take a well-deserved break and enjoy a sneak peek of upcoming 1.9 fashion! Here are some of the patterns and decals that are on the way."

Level 25—Environment Fabrics and Decals

"This feather pattern helps penguins dress as birds. Uh, waitaminute…"

"Here’s a decal that gives you that ‘recently run over by an animal’ look."

"I swear I’ve seen this before…"

Level 26—School Fabrics and Decals

"Sorry, argyll fans, maybe next time."

"This decal is straight and to the point. Hah!"

"A unique decal that’s sure to stand out. Or modern art."

"Any favorites? Any designs you’d love to see in future updates? Let us know in the comments!"

Waddle On

The next update seems like it will be small, but it will be interesting how it plays out. It will also be interesting if there will be any more Adventures coming out in the next update or maybe the one after that. Anyways what are all of your thoughts in this sneak peek? Is there anything you want to see come to the game in the future? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.
