Collecting Coins for a Good Cause

Hey what is up guys, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. The Club Penguin Team put up a brand new article today about how we can collect coins on the island to donate for Coins for Change, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"It’s almost Coins for Change, and that means one thing—time to look at the amount of coins you have and say, “Oh, wow, uh, where’d they all go? Do I have a hole in my pocket or something?”

"Don’t sweat it, if you want to contribute to Coins for Change and help out a real-world charity, there’s still time! Here’s a handy guide I’ve put together to help with your savings."

1. Run!— Seriously. A quick run through all of the island’s zones can net you a bunch of coins. After all, they’re just floating there, waiting for you to grab them.

2. Jump!— Bouncing up Mount Blizzard could be my full-time job. (Is anyone hiring?) There are a ton of coins and ice crystals if you can line up your jumps right.

3. Swim!—This is where the real coin is. Hit the Sea Caves for an underwater expedition of gems, pearls, and sunken treasure!

4. Challenge!— It’s an easy two step process. (1) Complete daily challenges. (2) Get coins. Well, if you’re me there’s one more step—(3) Try not to spend all your cash on new sunglasses.

5. Dance!— Collecting coins shouldn’t feel like a job. Take a break with a Team Dance Battle—whether you win or lose, you’ll still make bank!

"The best part is, your efforts go to a great cause. Coins unlock a donation to a charity that provides toys for children in need."

"Let’s make a difference together!"

Waddle On

Thanks for giving us some ideas on how we can earn more Coins on the Island Joe. The Coins for Change event is a little over a week away and its awesome that users from around the world like to contribute to those in need. I am also excited for the Holiday Party since we got a pretty good Halloween Party last month. Anyways what do you all think of this news? Is there anything you will do to earn more coins before next month? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

WARNING: Bear Sighting!

What is going on Guys and Gals, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. A couple days ago the Club Penguin Team published a brand new article on the website telling us about a certain Bear that is coming back, check it out.

"WARNING! A polar bear has been spotted near Club Penguin Island!"

"Please follow these safety tips:"

Be Aware—Keep an eye on your surroundings. Polar bears are known to travel on land and to fly through the sky with a huge iceberg base.
Make Noise—Be loud so bears know you’re around. Shout things like, “Seriously, Herbert, why can’t you let us have a holiday party in peace?” and “Dude, really? REALLY!?”
Get Help—When all else fails, tell Aunt Arctic or Jet Pack Guy that a polar bear is in the area. They have experience with these sorts of things.

"Remember, polar bears are highly intelligent and known to create weapons like giant lightning blasters. Be cautious and stay safe!"

Waddle On

Hmm... this is a very interesting warning from the Club Penguin Team. I wonder if Herbert will cause a disturbance during the Holiday Party which would stink because I want it to be like it always has been. What do you think Herbert is going to do during the month of December? Do you think he will attack us during the party or leave us alone until next year? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

SNEAK PEEK: Olaf's Frozen Adventure, Igloo Edition

Hey everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Club Penguin Staff Member Sam published an article on the Club Penguin Island News site last week talking about some Frozen Themed items coming to the island.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"Members of our team are HUGE fans of Disney’s Frozen, especially when it comes to Olaf. I guess it’s because we have so much in common with him––we love giving warm hugs, bursting into song (well, at least some of us enjoy this), and dreaming of summer!"

"When I found out that our 1.8 update would be bringing special items, clothing, and more inspired by Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, I froze over with excitement and asked––”will there be igloo furniture?!”

"Ohhhhhhh yeah there will!"

"The team explained that members will be able to choose from a stunning assortment of igloo and yard decor––hooray!"

"I still wouldn’t let it go (wink, wink), so our artists sent me images, and now I’m going to share with you!"

"When your tree is this sparkly, you really don’t need decorations."

What do you all think of this article from the Club Penguin Team? Is there anything you want to see come to the Igloo Update? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

What is up everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. The Club Penguin Team put out a brand new poll last week asking us about what item we are most excited to put into our Igloos, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"In honor of igloos coming to the island (very, very soon), we thought it might be fun to get us all thinking about furniture and décor! Is your penguin home going to be a bold and swanky estate, or a warm and cozy abode? Will you focus on building a magnificent kitchen to host delicious dinner parties, or will your beautiful backyard be the main attraction?"

"So many decisions to make, so little time!"

"Today we want you to tell us which of these five items (available for everyone) you are MOST excited about adding to your igloos! You can even tell us why in the comments below."

Mini Trampoline

"Because who needs stairs?"

FAQ Review: Coins for Change

Hey CP Fans, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. I haven't posted anything on this website for the past 2 weeks and I have to catch up on a ton of blog posts from the Club Penguin Island News site. Anyways the first one is a FAQ Review about Coins for Change.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"The holidays are almost here! Share the joy with those who need it most by participating in an important event—Coins for Change! While many of you have participated in past years, some are new to our traditions. Don’t worry—I’m here to answer your questions and get you ready for the season’s festivities."

Q: Let’s start from the top. What’s Coins for Change?
A: Coins for Change is a special holiday event. Penguins can donate their in-game coins to help a charity in the real world.

Q: Are we talking about the coins floating around the island? How can those help in the real world?
A: For every 100 coins that penguins contribute in-game between December 6, 2017 and January 3, 2018, we’ll donate $5 (up to a maximum of $50,000) to a real-world charity.

Q: Cool, so when can I start donating?
A: Coins for Change will begin soon after the 1.8 update. Aunt Arctic will notify you when donation stations are set up around the island.

"It’s amazing how much this community cares for others and I can’t wait to see that again this holiday season! Everyone has the power make a difference."

Remain Seated, There's a Slight Issue

Greetings Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. The Club Penguin Team put up a brand new article on their website today talking about a glitch that will be occurring over the next couple of days.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"I think I speak for the whole team when I say, “Um… oops.”

"You might have noticed that some Daily Challenges haven’t been working recently. In fact, any challenge involving sitting won’t reward you with XP. Sitting on a chair, sitting on a picnic blanket, sitting on a log—it has no effect."

"It’s like all our penguins are resisting a rest. (Hahahaha, get it? Um…)"

"Here are the challenges that won’t be working correctly:"

November 16 – The Busk Stop
November 19 – Chair-ish the Moment, Food Trek: The Next Meal Station, Highlights at High Heights
November 25 – Sea Seats
November 26 – Dark Mat-er

"But chair up, the team has worked on a fix and it’ll be packaged in with the 1.8 update. Once we’re all enjoying the holiday party or chilling in our igloos, we can put this issue behind us."

Waddle On

Thanks for the update Joe, I'm glad that when this glitch happens in the game we will at least know ahead of time. What do you all think of this brand new article from the Club Penguin Team? Do you think they should continue to notify the players about glitches that can appear in the game? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Starting in December, we’ll have special blog posts where you can report bugs to us and we’ll keep you up to date on what’s being fixed."

"Together, we can build an island."

Waddle On

"We don’t want to give too much away, but we can let you know that all the penguins will be invited to come together for a big holiday feast hosted by an especially-jolly Aunt Arctic. All will be calm and all will be bright–until something suspicious hinders the hype!
