Remain Seated, There's a Slight Issue

Greetings Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. The Club Penguin Team put up a brand new article on their website today talking about a glitch that will be occurring over the next couple of days.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"I think I speak for the whole team when I say, “Um… oops.”

"You might have noticed that some Daily Challenges haven’t been working recently. In fact, any challenge involving sitting won’t reward you with XP. Sitting on a chair, sitting on a picnic blanket, sitting on a log—it has no effect."

"It’s like all our penguins are resisting a rest. (Hahahaha, get it? Um…)"

"Here are the challenges that won’t be working correctly:"

November 16 – The Busk Stop
November 19 – Chair-ish the Moment, Food Trek: The Next Meal Station, Highlights at High Heights
November 25 – Sea Seats
November 26 – Dark Mat-er

"But chair up, the team has worked on a fix and it’ll be packaged in with the 1.8 update. Once we’re all enjoying the holiday party or chilling in our igloos, we can put this issue behind us."

Waddle On

Thanks for the update Joe, I'm glad that when this glitch happens in the game we will at least know ahead of time. What do you all think of this brand new article from the Club Penguin Team? Do you think they should continue to notify the players about glitches that can appear in the game? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Club Penguin Island for PC and Mac!

Hey everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. A couple days ago the Club Penguin Team announced a brand new update that is coming to the game and its very exciting, take it away Joe.

"Big news, penguin pals! No, wait—this is too important for lowercase letters."

"BIG NEWS, PENGUIN PALS!!!!! (Yeahhhh, nailed it.)"

"Grab your keyboards because today we’re making it official—Club Penguin Island is coming to desktop computers! The open beta edition will be released for PC and Mac on the same day as the 1.8 update. It’ll feature the entire island, including igloos, and will connect with all our players on mobile. And, of course, your Club Penguin Island account can be accessed on both mobile and PC & Mac!"

"Club Penguin Island’s open beta is a project for the CPI team and the community to work on together. We’ll be hunting bothersome bugs and pesky glitches to get the desktop version of CPI ready for a full release, and we’d like your help. Starting in December, we’ll have special blog posts where you can report bugs to us and we’ll keep you up to date on what’s being fixed."

"Together, we can build an island."

Waddle On

I am pretty excited to finally play CPI on a computer rather than a phone as playing on Desktop has always been a preference for me. It will be interesting to see how the game is implemented on the Computer including how the controls will work with a Mouse for movement or the arrows. What do you all think of this brand new post from the Club Penguin Team? Are you excited to see the game evolve over its lifetime? "First, everyone can build a home on Snowy Pine Estates."

"Members can also choose from two other locations—Sunny Shores and Wayover Woods!"

"But there’s more to customize! Members who loved the Halloween party might want to change the lighting at their location to a dark night sky."

"Or if that’s too much, there’s always this cool sunset option—perfect for a home on Sunny Shores."

"Which location and lighting combination is your favorite? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments below."

"We don’t want to give too much away, but we can let you know that all the penguins will be invited to come together for a big holiday feast hosted by an especially-jolly Aunt Arctic. All will be calm and all will be bright–until something suspicious hinders the hype! A Halloween Treat

Hey everyone, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Along with the Halloween Trick blog post the Club Penguin Team put up they decided to do another post last week as a Halloween Treat, check it out.

"Hi penguin pals, and HAPPY HALLO-WEEEEEEEN!"

"Today is all about having good, spooky fun, which is why it has always been one of our team’s favorite holidays. I mean really, when else do you get to carve up a vegetable while wearing a costume? Oh, is that just me?"

"This year we wanted to give you a special Halloween treat, which is why we created this awesome wallpaper for your phones, featuring all your favorite island mascots! They’re looking pretty good, don’t you think?"

"For Android:"

"For iOS:"

"Have a safe and fun Halloween, everyone!"
Waddle On

This is actually a pretty cool wallpaper for my phone and I will be glad to have it there for a while. I wonder if there are any other cool wallpapers that the Club Penguin Team plans to make. A Halloween Trick

Hey Penguins, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. On Tuesday last week the Club Penguin Team published three more blog posts onto their website all about Halloween and this is one of them.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"Ghosts are always on their worst behavior on Halloween, and today we learned that the hard way. They played the most haunting trick we’ve ever seen! The slimy water slide? Drained. The dark night sky? Clear and sunny. The jack-o-lanterns, string lights, and candelabras? All GONE! We’re not entirely sure how they pulled it off, but the good news is that nothing can break our Halloween spirits–not even actual spirits."

"We have successfully redecorated the island so penguins can go back to celebrating in peace."

"Happy Halloween, everyone! Up next–a TREAT!"
Waddle On

I guess this blog post describes about what the players have been going through with the ghosts on the island and I'm glad to have been a part of it. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday because of dressing up in costumes and scaring people with some of your decorations around your house. What do you all think of this blog post and did any of you enjoy Halloween? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

Club Pumpkin Island

Hello Everybody, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. The Club Penguin team recently put up an article about carving some pretty cool CPI designs into your pumpkins.

"What time is it?"

"IT’S PUMPKIN CARVING TIME!"

"Our team takes Halloween very seriously, and that doesn’t stop on the island. This year we came up with four incredible pumpkin carving patterns for you to use because, well, they’re awesome! Here’s what we’ve got:"

https://8fd47880.content.disney.io/Pumpkin_FaceTemplate.jpg

"Picked your favorite one? Good! Here’s what you need to do now:"
  1. Ask your parent or guardian help (I bet they’re pumpkin carving pros)
  2. Print out a pattern
  3. Tape it to a pumpkin
  4. Use pumpkin carving tools to trace and cut out your design
  5. Take it to a pumpkin carving contest and win first place (…just kidding)
"Have a happy Halloween, penguin pals!"
Waddle On

These Pumpkin Carving Designs are pretty cool and I am glad to have more of them on top of others from a couple years ago. I wonder if new designs will come out next year or not. Anyways what do you all think of this article? Is there anything you want to see come from the Club Penguin Team? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

"Hi penguin pals,"

"We have just one question for you—are you satisfied with your care? Our artists are busy bringing high-tech Big Hero 6 fashion to the Disney Shop, and we just HAD to give you a sneak peek. Check it out!"

"Members will soon be able to suit up in Hiro’s sleek gear from head-to-toe. Here’s how our artists planned out the design."

"But it’s not just outfits on the way—there will also be San Frantokyian decals available, each fit for a Hiro… er, HERO!"

"What do you think of the art style? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!"
Waddle On

Who’s visiting: McBeaks, and Amykim. Some other team members might surprise us too!

"It’ll start at Franky’s for a round of flaming pizza slices, McBeaks’ treat. But don’t eat too much, because you’ll need to be fleet of foot for some epic Team Dance Battles. It’s going to be fang-tastic!"
Waddle On

Congratulations to danielus33 for becoming this weeks POTW. I like to mention that their outfit looks a lot like Charizard from the Pokémon series which I think they were going for, maybe not. What do you all think of this weeks winner? Is there anyone you want to see being voted as a Penguin of the Week in the future? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below and more blog posts will be coming soon.

12 Years of Club Penguin

Hey what's going on everyone, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. Twelve years ago yesterday the world was introduced to the game Club Penguin and the Team behind it decided to post about how they enjoy the game and more.

"It started 12 years ago, on a snowy island with a small group of penguins. A community was formed, built on friendship, inclusivity, and awesome dance moves. Over the years, more penguins joined. They found a home on the island, grew with us, and, eventually, moved on to new adventures."

"Today we welcome every penguin looking for an island to call home. And when they arrive, they find a community of friendship, inclusivity, and, of course, awesome dance moves—and that’s thanks to every one of you for continuing the wonderful and (kind of crazy) Club Penguin traditions."

"For this special day, members of the team have written messages to the community."

"Thanks to all our amazing players, who love our little island as much as we do. It has been a privilege working with the team to create fun for you like Daily Challenges, Tilt-o-Tubes and behind-the-scenes technology for the events like Halloween."

"We’ve already had quite the journey together, and I look forward to exploring this Island together with our community to discover it’s many surprises."

"Waddle on!"

"Russell Horton — Senior Game Designer"

"Hey, Penguin Pals! Thank you so much for continuing to waddle around with all of us. The adventure to this new island has been fin-tastic and I can’t wait to eventually make it to the clouds with you all (and pizza parties until then). Chilling on the island is often one of the highlights of my week and I look forward to many more meet ups, challenges, and exploring new areas with you all!"

"Thanks for being such a warm community on this chilly island and, as always, Stay Creative!"

"Amy Thiessen — Help Site Writer"

"Thank you for being a part of the island."

"I loved making up stories about penguins and sharing them with the community. Every time I see a wild theory about a character or mystery, I get excited to write more. Please keep guessing about the buoys, and Penglantis, and the Lighthouse. They’re all important!"

"Alex Newcombe — Narrative Designer"

"Club Penguin has some deep roots! Most of all it is rooted in the love and energy that YOU bring to the community. The team puts so much care, creativity, passion, and hard-work into making Club Penguin Island, but that pales compared with what the community brings. Together we have made a place where we can be ourselves, have fun, meet new friends, and be a part of something amazing! Thank you for making Club Penguin Island what it is, a place of belonging."

"David Fairfield — Senior Audio Coordinator"

"You are the reason we love what we do! Knowing that Club Penguin Island brings a smile to your day is one of the best rewards of this job. I’ve been lucky enough to design most of the clothes in the Clothing Designer. Seeing all the amazing creations the community comes up with, everyday, is so incredible. Keep being creative, keep being you, and as always: waddle on."

"Erin Cinkant — Senior Artist"

"Thank you for turning the island into a home, penguin pals. We appreciate the magic you bring each day."
Waddle On

Thank you Club Penguin for being around for so many years and more to come. I have enjoyed this game for over a decade and I hope to see the game progress over time as I have loved the community that is here. What are all of your thoughts on the game being around since 2005? Is there anything you want to see come to the future? Please leave your thoughts down below and more blog posts will be coming soon.
