What is up CP Fans, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. We only have less than a month left to experience the desktop version of Club Penguin and throughout the Month of March I will be putting out a new piece of History about every single mini-game that is on Club Penguin and today we will be having a look at the game SoundStudio.
SoundStudio is a mini-game that was first released on July 17, 2014 and can be found in the Dance Club. It came out during the Music Jam 2014 and would later replace DJ3K after the party ended. On the Main Menu there are 3 different options where two of them can be played by all players but only one can be done by members. Make Music is the first option and allows the player to make your own music. The second option is the instructions which will tell you how the game works if you never tried it before or if you are curious on how to play. The last option there is on SoundStudio is the Saved Tracks option where it shows off all of the tracks you created during the time you had a membership. If you are in the Dance Club you will see a sidebar which shows all of the tracks being played by you and other players and this playlist function was first added to the game on July 6, 2016. The Gameplay for SoundStudio can start off as soon as you click the Make Music option. In here you can create your own music and you will be given different genres to choose from which are Pop, Rock, Dance, Dubstep and Spooky which was released on October 16, 2014 during the Halloween Party 2014. Members on Club Penguin are able to record their music for up to 3 minutes and you are also able to choose two groups of music which are Loops and One-shots. If you click on the Loops setting the music that plays will continue playing until it is either switched to a different loop setting or it is turned off. If you click on the One-shot it will play a small duration of music and then it will finish. Once a member has finished recording by either surpassing the 3 minute mark or stopping it manually you can put it into your saved tracks. Your tracks can be shared in the Dance Club and you are able to get likes for each song you put out. Saved Tracks are also playable in your penguins igloo and were once playable on the Music Cruise. In February 2015 there was a party that was themed after this game and the release of the SoundStudio App that was released on February 25, 2015 which was then discontinued on January 11, 2016.
Thank you all so much for reading about the history of the Club Penguin mini-game SoundStudio. I have not played much of this game since it has been released on the island, but I really wish I made a ton of music for my players igloo. It is a very fun and creative way to make music on this game and I know I will miss out for not doing a lot with this game. Anyways please enjoy the gameplay footage that can be found below and until next time this is Crzypengu saying Waddle On!
