What is up CP Fans, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. We only have less than a month left to experience the desktop version of Club Penguin and throughout the Month of March I will be putting out a new piece of History about every single mini-game that is on Club Penguin and today we will be having a look at the game Card Jitsu Snow.
Card Jitsu Snow was originally released as a beta game on February 28, 2013 and ended on April 11, 2013. When the Beta was complete players who were a part of it were given the Snow Beta Hat and was done after beating three of the normal rounds on the game. The game was later Officially released on the Club Penguin Desktop game on May 23, 2013 during the Card Jitsu Party 2013 and can be found at the Snow Dojo. This game also serves as the final installment for the Card Jitsu game on the Club Penguin Desktop unless if Card Jitsu Shadow comes out on the Club Penguin Island game. Gameplay for Card Jitsu Snow is put on a Tiled grid on a snow-covered mountain where it is very similar the the game of chess or checkers. There can be up to 3 players at a time for this game where each one determines if they want to be the Water, Snow or Fire Ninja in a game. All ninjas are useful for different reasons where the Water Ninja is good for heavy attacks but have to be in a close proximity of the enemy, Fire Ninjas can go move up and attack at a medium amount of range and the Snow Ninja can move up the farthest amount and attack at the longest range where they can also heal players by going near them. All Players have a health bar on the bottom of their penguin and the bottom of their screen allows them to use power cards that will increase the amount of Damage done to an enemy. Once a snowmen loses all of its health it will fall down and disappear. A round can be completed if all of the enemies are completed or if all of the players are knocked out. There is also a Bonus round that can be reached in three different ways. The first way to do this is to make it through all three rounds without any players falling to the snowmen. The Second way to get to the Bonus Round is by having all of the players complete the Third Round with full Health which will give you a stamp as well. The final way to get to the bonus round is by completing all three rounds within 4 minutes. A Revival feature is also in the game where members can heal themselves to full health, but this can only be done once a game.
Card Jitsu Snow is the first game in the Card Jitsu Series to have player not fight each other, but to fight three different snowmen which are Sly, Tank and Scrap, but there is another enemy that is a Walrus named Tusk who is the main antagonist in the game. Each Snowman Minion of Tusk have different attacks on the player where Scrap uses his racquet to hit a snowball which can hit multiple players at one time. Sly uses a snowball which he then uses as a bowling ball to hit the player. Finally there is Tank who does the heaviest damage in the game but can only attack you if you are in close proximity of him. Card Jitsu Snow also has videos that show the past relationship of Sensei and his former friend Tusk where it explains that they trained in the ancient art of Card Jitsu. However Tusk got jealous of how well Sensei learned the arts so easily that he attacked him by throwing a huge snowball at him. Sensei was able to push the snowball back at Tusk fortunately, but ultimately led Tusk to being trapped inside of a mountain. The Awards in this game not only include the full Snow Ninja suit, but also give you more items to obtain including video clips with the story of Sensei's past. Once you complete your Snow Ninja suit you will not be fighting Sensei but Tusk instead alongside with him. You are able to defeat Tusk either with or without three total players and you can use your power cards individually or with each other to make a combo move against him. Once you defeat Tusk you will be shown a short Video clip of him leaving the players only leaving his cape behind which can be taken by the player and you will become a Snow Ninja. Card Jitsu Snow is also the only game in the series where you can earn coins after every successful game or round completed. The game was also put on the Club Penguin App during an update on June 6, 2013.
Thank you all so much for reading about the history of Club Penguins mini-game Card Jitsu Snow. This may be one of the most difficult games on the Club Penguin Island and is a ton of fun that you are able to play alongside the other players instead of fighting each other. Anyways enjoy the gameplay footage found below and until next time this is Crzypengu saying Waddle On!
