What is up CP Fans, Crzypengu here with the latest updates. We only have less than a month left to experience the desktop version of Club Penguin and throughout the Month of March I will be putting out a new piece of History about every single mini-game that is on Club Penguin and today we will be having a look at the game Card Jitsu Water.
Card Jitsu Water was first released on November 23, 2010 originally for members and was made available for everyone on May 9, 2013. The game was first confirmed on the What's New Blog and a big storm was leading up to it all the way until November came. On November 16, 2010 there was Sensei's Water Scavenger Hunt that came out because of the flooding of the island. This took place during the Celebration of Water which was organized by Sensei. During this Scavenger hunt you had to look for different items in different places by reading poems that did not specifically say where you had to look, but gave you hints into where the items may be. Once you got all of the items from this Scavenger Hunt you would be given the Water Tank Background which was found during the construction of Card Jitsu Water. This event ended on November 24, 2010 which was when Card Jitsu Water came out. The Celebration of water event lasted until December 3, 2010 where during this party you could have met Sensei and gotten his autograph.
When Card Jitsu Water came out it was and is still playable for two to four players at a time. It can also be found in the Water Dojo which is hidden inside of a waterfall and can be seen from the Dojo. The gameplay for this game is much easier and faster than the others as your penguins move on a grid of tiles that float towards the waterfall. Each tile that is not occupied by an individual has the three different elements on them which are Fire, Water, or Snow and can be small, medium and large in scale. Penguins are not fighting each other in this game, but you are creating a path to get to the gong before you fall off of the waterfall. On the bottom of the screen random cards from your deck will appear going left to right where you have limited amount of time to choose whichever one you need to use to create a path. Of course you have to have the same Rock, Paper and Scissors formula in mind where one element can beat the other. Power Cards may also appear and can clear several tiles or add more to the same element presented. You are only allowed to throw an element one tile away from you but it can be vertically, diagonally and horizontally depending where you would like to go. The number on your cards can determine how big of an element you can clear off where a 5 or lower can get rid of a small element, a medium sized element can be cleared by a 6 and up, and a large sized element can be cleared with two cards or a power card. A player can win or lose by either hitting the Gong or by falling off the Waterfall. Rewards in this game are just like Card Jitsu Fire except they go for your Water suit and once you get all of those pieces then you can face Sensei and earn your Water Ninja Status. You can also earn stamps for this game such as beating Sensei or falling off the Waterfall.
Thank you all so much for reading about the History of the Club Penguin mini-game Card Jitsu Water. Card Jitsu Water has to be the easiest of all the games to be found on Club Penguin as long as you are fast on it. Of course you won't earn any coins from the game, but it is still a very fun game to battle between other players. Anyways enjoy the Gameplay footage found below and until next time this is Crzypengu saying Waddle On!
